The Outside World Around Us-Storyboard Drafts

Hi there! I am finally posting some pictures of what my storyboard drafts are looking like as of now. They are currently pretty rough, but hopefully they will give some better insight to what the final draft will look like. The third image also includes a preview of a part of one of my poems.

About the Authors

Audrey Goodman is a senior at High Tech High Chula Vista. Her extra-curricular activities include her involvement in her high school's glee club and choir. Audrey is also a big fan of musical theatre and has been in many different shows in her community since the 3rd grade. You can hopefully find Audrey on the campus of either UCI or UCSD next fall as she is planning on majoring in musical theatre. Audrey considers herself quite creative and enjoys illustrating characters she makes up on the spot. She has never written a children book before, but is very excited to do so as writing a book was on her bucket list! This past summer Audrey volunteered with OTL looks forward to working with them again for this project.

About The Authors

Selah O'Connor is senior at High Tech High Chula Vista. She is a competitive level 8 gymnast and has been involved in the sport for the past 10 years competing for both her high school and her club. She loves her job coaching gymnastics where she gets to share her passion for the sport with kids! Selah is also involved in her school's Graphic Novel project where she is the cover artist for the comic books they create. Selah enjoys listening to music, reading, and writing poetry. She also loves to paint or work on any type of artistic project that allows for her to use her creativity. Selah plans on studying art in college and can see herself as being an elementary art teacher in the future. She would be ecstatic to have the opportunity to study art at UCLA next fall. Selah interned for OTL her junior year and has been involved by volunteering and being on the Youth Council ever since.
